Mine is rather cute so deserves attention.
We also have a wood burner as only heat source and because the flames are ever so romantic as well as cosey, the window needs cleaning almost daily.
The special cleaner for that is an absolute windfall for cleaning the chrome tip too.

We know that you live a rural life, but with "a wood burner as the only heat source" how far "off grid" are you?

Not thát far. The farm we bought was connected to mains water/electricity and a land line telephone. The latter has since been taken out by falling trees when the mobile network/wifi had coverage here so we cancelled the line and used the trees as firewood.
Just this summer we were connected to the sewage net. Well, almost. The 120 meter tubing to the network is in, we only need 50 cm literally connection to the house.
Used to have our own veggies and meat; did the slaughter/butchering myself but this is now regulated out of the possibilities and there is no longer enough rain water to irrigate the plot.
Alo had great fun collecting frying oil from the local ventas and after filtering use it in the diesle engined cars. Sadly the common rail tech does not swollow that :-(
Basically the only thing we keep up is chopping up the fallen trees that neighbours alert us about.

Almost "civilised" now. The closest I've got to that "life style", apart from a trek in Nepal, is in buying a car in the early 70's from a guy who owned a septic tank emptying business with a fleet of sucker trucks.
His house and grounds demonstrated his success and he proudly claimed that indeed "Where there is muck there is money".

I empty the septic myself  8)

As we are extremely eco-conscious, p.e. use the water of the shower/bast to flush the toilet, the ´waste´ water is entirely bio-degradable so I recycle it as fertiliser. Yes, illegal but so was using veggie oil as fuel. The law is not per definition correct, even ethical and in many instances aimed to generate income for the State regardless of the eco footprint.

I do hate agreeing with you but sometimes I can't help it.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

That reminds me of a "true" story about someone trying to steal fuel from a camper van and put the tube in the wrong tank!
