Front nappy, is it really required?

Lost my front nappy in the recent crash at three sisters and begrudge paying £50 for a used piece of plastic that cant be seen.

Car is only used to commute to and from track and I don't do any wet road driving unless commuting to track.

Does the front nappy add any benefits apart from weather protection?

How may of you run without?

Totally ok not to run one IMHO.
Maybe just give it a clean after each  track day.

Unless anybody thinks its needed aerodynamically for a track day.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I would expect it to help smooth the air flow under car quite a bit but not sure how much difference you would notice in the real world, certainly cant seen an reason not to try it and see if it "feels" any different :)
