Call the midlife!

This is just the bare bones of a piece of information that possibly few people know about.
On a PFL front end if you remove the number plate and the plastic grille behind it you can reach up and access the frunk release.
So far all I know is I can manipulate the cable outer and feel the catch mechanism while squinting through the shut gap so would hope you're able to manipulate the mechanism should your cable break.
I'll look further into it when I can get my hands dirty but after one of our members being unable to get in his frunk for a 4 day camping trip I'm assuming it's little known.
Certainly none of us on the trip were aware of it...

Interesting, Assume you can still access it with frunk plastics in placE?

The bumper trim hole is way lower than the frunk plastics and sits reasonably above the lock mech. I still had it fitted when I was fiddling around with the bumper grille so I'm going to say yes.
