Better radiator.

I put a replacement 'Coolparts' radiator in last year.  It kept sucking up air (as they do).  Despite replacing both O rings for fatter ones and doubling up on hose clamps, it was still doing it.  A couple of weeks ago I replaced the top O ring again, but it's still playing silly buggers.

I decided to bite the old bullet and go for a slightly more expensive radiator.  I sourced the one MR2 Ben sells, but for a better price.  It's £20 more than the Coolparts one.

It arrived this morning.  It has proper 'wing-nut' type bleed screws as standard (rather than the flat-headed things on the Coolparts one), which is encouraging and the plastic end-tanks seem more substantial. It has a lable saying AHE Cooling LTD  #TO2334

Another case of just going for price ain't the best idea. :)

Nice work, be interested to see how you get on.  Re: the air, would that explain the varying levels in the expansion tank, with the Coolparts ones fitted?

Didn't see one.  I'll look in the box when I'm next in the workshop.
