Imagined or real?

This week, I finally put my mid and rear nappies back on, along with 4 fins purely for the aesthetic appeal (always liked the look of diffusers, but I'm far too tight to pay for one  s:lol:  s:lol:  )
Is it my imagination, or do the nappies actually assist airflow? The back end certainly feels more 'planted' over the last couple of days. I can't imagine that the 4 little fins I put on there will make the slightest difference??
The Sun is out, the sky is blue,
The roof is down on my MR2,
And I\'m grinning, grinning ear to ear!

Could it be the warmer weather allowing the tyres to grip more.
It would be the first time ive heard of the nappies aidding handling.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Thought it probably was  s:D :D s:D  Either that or the Northern Soul I had playing had me extra chilled out.

Or, the Soul was releasing a few more horses.

All good whichever way round.

It's funny that as I was listening to a mix of James Brown and Otis Redding last night while hitting my last, seized manifold nut with a chisel! Soul Power indeed...

Maybe real?

Watch this video, particularly from 11:00 mins. I reckon that describes exactly what happens without the nappy, whereas with the nappies on there should be quite a nice smooth airflow underneath.

Looks alright from a distance!

I have recently  watched a few youtube videos about diffusers but like the airflow, most of it went over my head...
