Just a heads up guys , the Elise parts sump is in the sale at a 10% reduction
that's a saving of £50 .
If I'm correct I think this sump is probably one of the best for our 1zz or 2zz engines , if anyone has one fitted perhaps they could comment ?
I'm very tempted to treat myself   s:D :D s:D

So it's still £450? Is that cheap and worth it?

That of course depends on your viewpoint
Speaking personally ,I have a turbo fitted so this sump will solve a number of issues I have at the moment
such as where I can put the oil temp sensor ,drain for the turbo oil feed ,and extra capacity for when I track the car
Cost wise I have put far far more into the engine than £450 so anything that will keep it safer is worth the cost to me !

Fair enough, but for a "normal" engine, not really worth it then?

I wouldn't see the need on a standard engine ,but I'm no expert .

Just posted this up to let members know its reduced ,if like me they want one anyway it is good to know when its cheaper .

If you are tracking a car then it makes sense to have a baffled sump.
A few members me included, have suffered with oil burning issues. This can lead onto oil starvation to bottom end bearings. A baffled sump can reduce oil sloshing around in sump. If like me you like cornering quickly even with standard suspension oil starvation can become a problem
🚘Just a pass time to break the monotony

Thanks for the heads up.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I ordered mine on Thursday and was here Monday morning. Seems really well made, looking forward to having it fitted on the car.

Anyone know an alternative place to get a baffled sump?
£454.99 delivered from tuning development seems the best so far
