Hi All,
is there realistically any difference between the NGK and Denso cheapo spark plugs from eurocarparts?

Having seen a mild improvment on the trim when I swapped to a new air filter I'm going to do the sparks as well tonight to see if I can try and get the start up and trim levels back within acceptable limits...

If not there will be a nice MAF mod set going up for sale shortly!

Cheers,

John

No difference, just personal preference, I've always gone for NGK copper plugs, no other reason than that's the first make I ever bought and stayed with them.

No difference, get the cheapest. I put iridiums in my 2zz because then I don't ever have to do them again.

NGK
I change them every year regardless of miles.
I know it's obscenely decadent, but at less than £10 delivered. Hey, what the heck.

NGK can become porous with humidity.
I have got involuntary rev limiter at 5500 rev/min with NGK after 10 000 miles (1 year).
Apparently it is a well known issue in the motorbike community.

Have to agree for less than 3 pints in your local why not.
Change oil twice a year with plugs and filter once per year.
I do put in the miles.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Nearly as above

I  change oil and filter twice
Plugs once.
And dont put anywhere near the miles in.
