I have a zero and Janspeed, looks great, amazing build quality (looks like a piece of art -whole system pipe work) but it's bloody loud.

I have a Cobra exhaust on my new 2 (everything else is stock), which gives more volume and a bit of a deeper sound to it, definitely suits the car more than stock without getting the 'wrong kind' of attention.   s:wink:  s:wink:

Is there any way to tell the difference without finding a brand label?

That one is a che as far as I can tell. The janspeed one has a nice rolled lip. See above.

Quote from: "Jock"Looks like its got a sports cat.  Don't think the Che would fit on a standard cat without a bumper cut-out   s:? :? s:?

I have the Che system fitted to a standard cat and manifold and no cut out is required.I have only ever seen the bumper cut out when an aftermarket manifold is fitted.

Upgraded my exhaust sound the weekend, love it now. Involved no engineering work, no garage and no tools, added bonus was louder indicator relays but on the downside its enhanced the dashboard and roof rattles. Total cost was a tad under £2K had to be done as I needed new ears, yup hearing aids.

Sounds good value to me Norman  s;) ;) s;)

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Looking at posts after this photo was posted, it looks as though it's a Che? I've just bought this actual exhaust from the guy breaking the car in the photo. I've started to clean up the tailpipes, but need to give them some more work with the Autosol. It doesn't particularly show in the photo, but the tailpipes are slash cut, without a rolled tip. Looking forward to getting it fitted!

Can anyone confirm whether or not the exhaust in the photo above is a Che?

I have the janspeed and my tail pipes look a little different to yours, and yes its quite loud.

Janspeed has a rolled edge rather than a straight cut pipe.

Janspeed also has the name punched into the top of the pipes.

Box is a bit different on the Janspeed, plus fitment and fabrication is far superior.

Do I remember reading somewhere (probably an old post) that if we could get an order for 5 units Janspeed would consider doing a limited production run again???

If they'd still do it I wonder if there would be enough interest here to get 5 buyers?
