We will be living in Lincs next year so I hope to catch the Caldwell races.
Were you racing in the 70's@ If so that was about the time I was in the 750F. and we are of an age!

Hi everyone
Well not a good race weekend for the start of the season
Practice - well overheated engine and was 5 seconds down on last years time so with all the prep and testing it still comes down to race day.
Re bleed rad but was not happy with the output but went for race one.
In race one way down the field made up a few places at the start but down on power they all begin to haul me in, but finished the race.
Trying to get ready for race 2 and no circulation of coolant so decided to withdraw from race 2 to save the engine
On top of engine issues the vid cam decides to pack up to so no onboard from my car but Andrew Strange in his Roadster caught our little dice

https://youtu.be/vIyXV67hj-I

This is Andrews footage enjoy watch till the end
A few laps from the end of the race somebody decided to drop oil and water on the track at the end of the straight hence the lock up

We've all been there mate and credit to you for still sounding chipper when we spoke not long after the weekend. How's the new engine coming together?

Are you coming out to play with us over in Nippon this year?

Hi Miles the engine is coming along but not fast enough so I do not think I will be ready for Silverstone.
Had a word with Steve ref racing my Roadster with him and we are good to go. Ps I can even use my rear wing

Many thanks Misterk for coming to Donny it was good to chat but sorry we could not do the last race

You're avoiding the question Mr Hutson! ;) I didn't say if you 'could' use the car, I asked if you 'were' planning to race with us? :)

You have not said when you are racing so I will go first, if everything goes ok Donington and Thruxton .
Would have liked to do Cadwell this month but car will not be ready and Mallory clashes with the last round at Snetterton for the Championship.
