Hope you'r all safe out there, running out of things to do, thought I would fit gas struts to bonnet and boot lids!    Thing is I can't find any information in "how to" and therefor would like someone who has done this to offer guidance, ie where to buy, size, strength, how much to pay, guide to position on car, I would like to fit only one under each hood, etc, etc.    1   2   3    GO.

If you put that into a search on Fleabay you should find a set for around £65 and the option to buy a rear set for the same money.
I can't remember if adding the actual link is within the rules but can do if it is.
I'm confident others have sourced their own individual parts for less money so hopefully they'll share with you.
I don't think you'll get away with just one strut though due to the weight of the components and the relatively slim rams required to fit in the space available.
