Hi Everyone! Hope you and yours are well.
I've been refurbing my wheels and noticed today that the rubber boots on my offside rear brake caliper rubber boots are shot. The brake is working fine, nothing came up on the MOT (the MOT in mid March that she flunked on with the nearside caliper handbrake mechanism...got a good replacement and will be getting the MOT done next week...relief!). What I would like to check with you is can I change and regrease the boots and guide pin (hopefully it's in ok condition) without having to unbolt the handbrake cable. After undoing the bottom bolt is it possible to slide the caliper off the carrier so I can get to remove and replace the boots.
Regards Pete
