Last time I changed my plugs I noticed some oil on the thread of one plug. I'm guessing that my cam cover gasget is leaking? How easy is this to do myself?

A doddle.  Don't buy the very cheapest, I've seen a couple that didn't quite fit properly.

Take your time, it's a very nice and satisfying little 'first' engine job.

A long 10mm socket and away you go.

You have to remove the plastic cover, then the coil packs and their wiring rail, pull off two hoses, and then unbolt the cover.

Thanks for the quick response Carolyn. How much should I spend?

Nice and easy.

Take your time. Remember to clezn up the mating surface and clean out the groove the new gasket sits in.
In june 19. Toyota unit price was £16.39

There is no specified torque setting for the doing backup. Just wants to equal and enough.
