Noisy window operation

I swapped passenger doors with a well-known Breaker & discovered some time later that operation of the window is much noisier than I had, or my driver's side.
The Breaker said they are normally very reliable & trouble-free, & doing a Google search brought up nothing.

Has anyone had a noisy one & managed to improve it?   Speed-wise it's ok.

I have a noisy passenger window which bothered me so much when i first got the car that i got a complete passenger side mechanism and motor from someone who was breaking one. I think the mechanism is still in my garage and the passenger side is still noisy, but it hasn't broke yet. I imagine a squirt of something that would lubricate the mechanism would quieten it down some but i have never got round to it. (been about 5 years now..lol). I always make sure i pull the window up and down a few times when i haven't driven it for a while, i suppose im waiting for it to break, but it hasn't.
