Foxy’s headlights.

I have machined polished them twice in 3 years, they've come up ok each time.  When I washed Foxy the other week I noticed that there is a long very thin crack which I believe has happened from a stone that's been flicked up onto the lens. It hasn't split the lens but I'm concerned if I machine polish again I may make things considerably worse.  I would love new ones but not at £500 a pair!  May post in "Wanted".

You sure they're that dear Jane, just checked MR2ben who do a pair for £425 in postage and MR2ben aren't usually the cheapest. Maybe try TCB.

If they are not for polishing at the moment you could use a 3m clear foil so that they wont need another polish. I polished the headlights on my Civic and then protected them with foil and they are still in a great shape and its been like 3 years or so.

My original 2 had clear protective tape on it and was fine although it was an 06 with 55k when I got it

Transparent foil, good idea that. Will ask my sticker guy friend about it.
Polish with toothpaste/WD40 mix and then cover with foil. I like the idea.
