Guys,

I recently had my front springs changed due to one being broken.

I have noticed recently that the steering no longer enters itself.

Anything I can do / check myself before taking it to be checked over?

Sounds like an alignment problem.  Not a lot to do but check it on a rig.

But one wonders why the change?
Was 2 dodge springs offsetting each other and keeping things straight. Hope so.
Who done the work?
Did you see work carried out?
Done Diligently or bish bash bosh?

Do you get any grinding noises when turning? Maybe the spring isn't sat correctly.

This was the primary symptom for me when my steering UJ was on it's way out. Worth checking as the issue with the spring could be a coincidence?

UJ certainly will not help with this. Get in there and fire some grease into it and see if it makes a difference. Worth getting a alignment regardless.
