Hey all just driven 150 miles in mr2 last 40 miles the airbag light came on intermittently, then nr end ps was doing it as well finally the ABS started to do it.

It's done this before then I don't have it for ages. I'm starting to think it could be batt related ?

Opinions please

Have you had the battery checked?
Any obvious problems like cranking issues?

Could easily be grounding related too.

No codes?

For the randomness of the issues mentioned, I will go with Stu's suggestion a dodgy earth. Which is sort of free to fix.
Rather that, than a chafed loom earthing where it shouldn't.

Anything noticeably different.  Weather puddles jet washing?

Nope nothing weather related in fact it was dry for the whole drive.

I did wonder earth but it only happens after a good 90 odd miles of driving.

Would a bad earth not be intermittent all the time ?

As suggested it is likely to have a common cause.

The three first to check would be battery and - connections, CPU connectors and instrument panel connectors. There is a How Too about removing the latter.

I would check with battery because it is easiest. Most likely imo is CPU.

´Intermittent´ means just that and remember that the car, thus all connections/contacts, warmed up.

Good luck!

Did you ever get the OD2 reader? I'll make sure mine is in the car Monday as I don't need to carry it anymore and we'll see if there's anything showing on the live reading as it's happening.
Bit of a long shot as we're all thick as pigshizz but it'll give us something to do while Aky reads his maps...
