Could anyone confirm if the front brake pads should have a anti squeal shim on the back of each brake pad as mine does not have any fitted and they squeal when the brakes are hot,  if they should be fitted where can I buy them from, Thanks

They are a dealer only part. I've previously fitted them but some aftermarket pads do not work with them very well.
Personally I wouldn't bother. Using copper grease (or Ceratec) will resolve the squealing problem.

I used ceratec grease when I changed pads and discs last year and they squeal when hot

Maybe I will remove pads, clean all contact points and re grease and refit and see what happens

I think there were some of these in the auction at ding day. (Did not sell)

A club contribution  could/might secure them.

Apologies if I'm wrong on either account

ah yes.

I remember somethings but not all things.

Apologies for the false hope.

Not cheap from Toyota either - £38 for the front ones, so a quid is more than a steal!

Painted my calipers in situ before replacing pads and discs and decided I would just get hold of new ones front and back plus pad holders rather than trying to mask everything off. Might have thought twice if I'd priced up before ordering (rears are a bit cheaper).

4945-20210 is front part number and rears are 4946-17010 and come in at £27.14.

To be clear, these were pre-owned and in need of a good clean so probably only worth £2.50 at a push.
There were bargains galore to be had on the day!
