Fuel pipe splitting

Fuel line disconnection.   Engine coming out. There is a pipe with a sort of aluminium 'olive' behind the engine.
Is that a point to seperate at, - if so how is it done?

Call the midlife!

Should be a white, plastic fitting that keeps the two parts together, you need to remove that and the pipes should pull apart.

The white bit (a sort of 'clip') stays behind on the metal pipe.  Squeeze the tabs on the white clip together and the black plastic bit on the hose will disconnect.  A bit fiddly at first and then -'oh that was easy'.
