Brake master cylinder leak?

Getting my 2 for summer and just changed the brake fluid and bled all the nines. Putting the wheels back on I noticed a large, 75mm, spot of something on the garage floor and I hadn't spilt any fluid. Took the frunk cover off and could see weep marks coming from the two MS cylinder fixings, traced this down and under the booster, onto the various pipes and onto the floor!
I don't think this is self healing but there doesn't seem much relevant about similar issues, how to's or fixes.
Any advice would be welcome.

I've tried to replicate the "leak" given the pedal a good dance with engine off and then with engine on. The pedal feels fine, with little travel and constant resistance.

Is it still weeping and/or is the reservoir level going down?

@StuC , no weeping now, I've just topped up the reservoir from mid point to full.
I'll have another dance again.

50 "steps" engine off, 50 "steps" engine on.
Pedal remained firm.
No loss of fluid from the reservoir.
I'm hoping that I did spill some fluid.
I think there's a moral here somewhere..

Is the moral, when bleeding brakes #i would pump 500 times... and I will pump 500 more#

No Stu, that's more of a proclamation than a moral.

The moral would be, reverting to my bad poetry, something along the lines of-

Think things through
before you get in a stew!

All should be resolved after a test run tomorrow.

Proclamation... nicely done! 8)

Hope the test run works well today.

Test run completed and no " leak " apparent, thanks Stu, so I must have been less xareful than I thought I was with the topping up. Brakes feel very efficient so a good job done by Mrs J .
If the frunk cover was off it would have been apparent what the " problem" was.
Lesson learnt for next time.

Carolyn

hope you cleaned the fluid off the car.....

Kudos to Mrs J for expertly controlling the pedal. :)

Oh yes, that I managed to do, mainly rubbery bits fortunately.
