Hotter Plugs

From the PE turbo installation guide

"The calorific value of the engine increases by use of this MR-S Turbo Kit. You need to raise the heat value of the ignition plug"

Any suggestions for some hotter plugs?

If it low boost?

I am not getting this.
Arent you supposed to go a grade cooler for a turbo install?
TTE turbo has a reccomended plug one grade cooler than stock.

If I recall some manufacturers go higher number some lower number so that's probably where the confusions come from, you'd expect better wording from someone providing a kit though. unless that's not it.

Same thing really. You go a grade cooler is in fact picking a hotter rated plug if that makes any sense.

A cooler plug has a higher number, if ngk

Cooler = moves heat from tip to engine quicker

I Ran 2 stage cooler plugs (8) in a 100hp hotter (as spinning much quicker supercharged) mini engine
I'm assuming a low boost turbo runs cooler than the mini

Far better to be too cool and foul, rather than to be too hot and suffer pre det

All as above.

Stock = plug rating of 5
TTE = plug rating of 6

So higher number - cooler plug - as per Scott and  R Buck
