Identifying a genuine TRD quickshift

I have a genuine TRD quickshift (I know it's genuine because I bought it brand new and came in the right box etc). But after throwing away the box and not having the receipt I was wondering if there is an obvious way to show a buyer it is genuine? i.e. visible differences to a standard stick, markings etc.

So far the only visible difference I can see is the genuine TRD gear knob?

I actually wrote on both of mine with a sharpie as I knew they'd be hard to tell apart in future!!

I am confused following this!

The genuine standard lever is cranked/ bent isnt it?

The ebay short shift is not cranked and is shorter with the pivot in a different place.

I have never seen a TRD one but there must be some obvious difference musnt there?

I presume it is cranked, but it's pivot point is higher up the shaft when compared with the standard lever. Just lie them next to each other and compare the position of the pivot points.
(If the levers are different lengths you will need to compare the proportion of the overall lever length either side of the pivot points. The TRD one will be the one that has the smaller proportion of the lever above the pivot point.)

Edit:
For both levers:
Measure the distance from the bottom of the lever to the pivot centre point, call this A.
Measure the distance from the pivot centre point to the top of the lever, call this B
Divide A by B, call this C
Multiply C by B, call this D

Whichever gives the highest number for D is the TRD.
